Marvin Makofsky, President

Throughout his colorful career, Marvin has identified inefficiencies in business process and created solutions. Since 1972, Marvin has been viewed by his peers as an inspired, driven innovator with sharp business acumen. Marvin has been featured on CNN Radio, Newsday, and The Warner Channel as well as countless trade journals as a print industry visionary. Marvin has been a speaker at numerous organization meetings and services on the board of the Association of Graphic Communications.

Marvin has been recognized with more then 80 national and international design awards. More recently, BFL&S Magazine awarded Marvin their first lifetime achievement award. In 2005 Marvin was awarded the Document Management Industry Association's Peak Award for Best New Envelope.

Through Marvin's efforts, Conformer Products have solved challenges for many prestigious non-profit and profit organizations the likes of Standard & Poors, Wall Street Journal, Pfizer, Siemens, Harvard Business School, and Direct Marketing Association. Marvin holds a BSBA in Business Administration from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Bob Makofsky, Vice President, General Manager

As General Manager of Conformer Products Inc., Bob brings over a dozen years of marketing and sales experience to his role heading operations, postal relations and marketing. He also plays a major role in the research and development that is the backbone of Conformer Products, Inc.

Prior to working with Conformer Products, Bob managed the Cisco business development relationship for eDeploy, a software firm in Denver, CO, where he helped negotiate numerous $100 million-plus contracts nationally and abroad. Bob also led the company’s sales collateral, website, and trade show efforts. He entered the high tech industry selling highly technical computer mapping hardware and software to non-technical markets while identifying new profit opportunities for the company.

Bob is a competitive cyclist and longtime member of the Century Road Club Association (CRCA) based in Central Park, NYC, and has competed in the Empire State Games in 2007 and 2008. Bob graduated from the University of Denver with a bachelor’s degree in Geography and Business.

Sari McConnell, Vice President, Business Development

Sari is responsible for overseeing new business development opportunities and maintaining existing licensee relationships at Conformer, Inc. Recently she opened Conformer Inc.’s West Coast office in San Francisco, CA.

Prior to joining Conformer Inc, Sari was most recently the managing director and vice president of product development and marketing of a venture-backed music and multimedia agency based in San Francisco and New York. She also landed new agency clients including P&G, Kraft, Unilever, Del Monte, Pottery Barn and Tommy Bahama.

She has extensive experience in brand and product management within the consumer packaged goods industry at Hallmark Cards, Clorox, and LeapFrog where she managed the $100 million LeapPad business the year it was voted “Toy of the Year” by the Toy Manufacturers Association.

Sari is a member of the Bay Area Regional Council of Northwestern University. Sari received her MBA at the Kellogg School of Management, and received her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University as well.
